Subprocessors

Last Updated:

Re-skill uses third parties to deliver the Services. Each is bound by contract to confidentiality and data protection terms, and may use data only to provide services to us.

This page describes the categories we use and where data sits. The complete, current list of named subprocessors, with the purpose and location of each, is Exhibit C of our Data Processing Agreement, available to customers and to anyone evaluating us. Ask at info@re-skill.io.

What we use, by category

Cloud infrastructure and hosting. Application servers, file storage, content delivery and this website.

AI model providers. Course generation, summarisation, text extraction from documents, speech synthesis, avatar video, and slide generation. This is how the product works: generating a course means sending the content of what you upload to model providers.

Search and source retrieval. Where you ask us to draw on a web page, a linked document store or a video, the relevant service fetches and extracts that source.

Operational services. Transactional email, application logging, error monitoring and product analytics.

Where your data sits

Primary storage is in the European Union. Uploaded files, generated video and course media are stored in AWS Frankfurt.

Some processing happens in the United States. Several AI and operational providers are US based, so content passes through the US during generation even though it is stored in the EU. Where data leaves your jurisdiction we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and our providers' data protection terms.

Enterprise plans can avoid this entirely. VPC and on-premise deployment exist for organisations whose material cannot leave their own infrastructure. If that is your position, talk to us before uploading anything to the cloud product.

What we do not do

We do not sell customer data. We do not use it for advertising. No advertising or marketing trackers run on this website.

Changes

We update this page and Exhibit C when our providers change. Customers who want advance notice of a new subprocessor can request it at info@re-skill.io.
